Labor Day was lethargic for the networks.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

Demo Profile 2015 MON.07 Sep

ABC:  The season finale of BACHELOR IN PARADISE slipped 0.1 to 1.4, and the post-show AFTER PARADISE gained 0.1 to 1.1.

NBC:  AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR fell half a point to 1.6, setting things up badly for the season finale of RUNNING WILD, down 0.2 to 1.0.

FOX:  SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE lost 0.1 to 0.7.

CW:  Reruns of its usual summer Monday slate were topped by 0.4 for PENN & TELLER: FOOL US.

CBS:  Amidst its Monday reruns (led by THE BIG BANG THEORY, naturally, at 1.3), the network threw a half-hour FALL PREVIEW promo into the line-up at 1.0.

EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS and USA’s PLAYING HOUSE air their season finales tonight, but the excitement will be after primetime, when THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT makes its long-awaited debut.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
