UPDATED: THE SKED CABLE/NETWORK SCORECARD – 12/16/13

AFTERNOON UPDATE:  The only ratings adjustments were due to local football coverage in Detroit and Cincinnati.  On NBC, THE VOICE held onto its 3.3, but THE SING-OFF dropped 0.2 to 2.0, while at ABC, THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT lost 0.2 to a painful 1.0.

MONDAY CABLE:  MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (ESPN) was of course at the top with 4.8, although the Cincinnati/Detroit game was almost a point down from last week’s Dallas/Chicago match-up.  WWE (USA) was strong at 1.4-1.6 among its 3 hours, and at VH1, BLACK INK CREW and CHRISSY & MR. JONES were both at 1.0, with T.I. AND TINY HOLIDAY at 0.9.  Bravo had 0.9 for REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS and 0.7 for VANDERPUMP RULES.  MODERN CRIMES (TNT) was at 0.7.

NBC and ABC numbers may be inflated by local coverage of Monday Night Football in Baltimore (NBC) and Detroit (ABC)–and considering that the networks are already down for the night, that’s not great news.

Daily Comparison 2013 Mon Dec 16 three way

CBS:  One of the better (and most Mother-centric) episodes of the season’s HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER hit the season’s low, down 0.3 to 2.7.  2 BROKE GIRLS also took a serious hit, down 0.4 to 2.3 from its last new episode.  MIKE & MOLLY was up 0.2 from last week to 2.2, but the asterisk is that last week it was the only fresh episode surrounded by reruns.  MOM tied its series low 1.9, down 0.2.  HOSTAGES, nearing its end, gained 0.1 to 1.2.

FOX:  ALMOST HUMAN continued to slide, down 0.2 to 1.6.  After that, a pair of holiday animation reruns were at 0.9/0.8.

NBC:  Currently the first part of THE VOICE cycle finale is down 0.2 to 3.3, a new low for a finale’s first part.  THE SING-OFF is down 0.2 from last Monday to 2.2.

ABC:  As of now, a pair of PREP & LANDING animated reruns are both at 1.0, and then THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT is at 1.2, down 0.2 from last Monday.

CW:  Rerun specials, both at 0.4.  (Which is as well as the network has been doing with new regular series episodes on Mondays.)

CBS and NBC have fresh programming tonight (including the cycle finale of The Voice on NBC), while the other networks are in rerun mode.  On cable, MTV airs the season finale of AWKWARD.
