NBC’s The Voice averaged a preliminary 3.7 rating with Adults 18-49 last night, probably rising to a 3.8 in the official nationals (which would be the first time the show has not declined from the previous week since March 5).  Smash is currently a 2.1 rating in the fast nationals, probably rounding down to a 2.0 in the official nationals (which would still be up a tenth from last week — the last time it was up week to week was also March 5).  For the night, NBC won the night with a 3.2 rating.  Last year on this night: Chuck repeat (0.9), The Event (1.3) and Law & Order LA (1.3).

ABC also benefited from facing CBS repeats.  Dancing with the Stars rebounded to a 3.0 preliminary rating last night from 8-10 pm, probably going up to a 3.1 in the official nationals (its best performance in a month).  Castle did not air, pre-empted by a special 20/20: Dance Floor Confidential, which scored a 2.1 preliminary rating (similar to recent Castle original episodes).  Last year on this night on ABC: Dancing with the Stars 8:00-9:30 (4.7), Better with You (2.6) and Castle repeat (1.5).

FOX’s House was the biggest beneficiary of the CBS repeat competition, jumping three tenths of a rating point from last week to a 2.3 in the fast nationals.  Bones held steady last night with a 2.2 at 8 pm.  Last year on this night on FOX: House repeat (1.5) and Chicago Code repeat (1.0).

CBS aired a full slate of repeats last night, reloading for the May sweep which starts Thursday.  The all-repeat line-up finished fourth on the night.  CBS is hoping for big things next Monday at 10 pm, when a heavily promoted Hawaii Five-O/ NCIS: Los Angeles crossover event kicks off as the two squads battle a pandemic in Hawaii and California.  Last year on this night:  How I Met Your Mother repeat (1.7), Mad Love (2.0), Big Bang Theory repeat (2.4), Mike & Molly repeat (2.1) and Hawaii Five-O repeat (1.7).
