NETWORK UPDATE: The ONCE UPON A TIME season finale gained 0.1 in final numbers (as did AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS), but the REVENGE finale dropped 0.1. On FOX, AMERICAN DAD was up 0.1 but COSMOS lost 0.1.
SATURDAY CABLE: ORPHAN BLACK (BBCA) stayed at 0.2, and the season premiere of IN THE FLESH that followed barely rounded up to 0.1. DAVINCI’S DEMONS (Starz) rose 0.1 to 0.2, which is better than it looks since Starz is only in 1/3 of US homes.
SUNDAY CABLE: PENNY DREADFUL started for Showtime with an OK 0.4 rating (Showtime, too, is in only 1/3 of US households, and the PENNY pilot had been available for 2 weeks online in advance of the premiere). That was certainly better than the microscopic ratings for YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, which it replaced, and also up from the 0.2 lead-ins it got from NURSE JACKIE and CALIFORNICATION (both steady with last week). Of course, the night was dominated by HBO, as GAME OF THRONES shrank a bit, down 0.5 to a still-huge 3.4 (plus 0.6 for the 11:30PM re-airing). SILICON VALLEY, VEEP and LAST WEEK TONIGHT all held at their respective 1.0/0.5/0.5. On AMC, MAD MEN fell 0.2 to 0.6, although it just barely missed being rounded up to 0.7, while TURN stayed on the low end of 0.3. DEVIOUS MAIDS (Lifetime) held at 0.6. SALEM (WGN America) fell just enough to be rounded down to 0.1. The NBA PLAYOFFS on TNT led the unscripted pack at 1.7, then REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA (Bravo) tumbled 1.1 (a rerun?) to 0.8 and a pair of NHL PLAYOFF games on NBC Sports Network were at 0.7.
Pray for Rosemary’s Baby.
NBC: Coverage of THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP (PGA golf tournament) ran long, ending approximately 8:15 pm ET. DATELINE was joined in progress at that time, down 0.3 from last week to 0.8. The much-hyped remake of ROSEMARY’S BABY started on time at 9PM, but scored a disastrous 1.1 (and fell to 1.0 in its 2d hour, boding even worse for Thursday’s conclusion).
ABC: The 2-hour season finale of ONCE UPON A TIME was at 2.2, up 0.1 from last week and down just 0.1 from last season’s (1-hour) finale. The season finale of REVENGE was at 1.5, up 0.2 from last week and down 0.2 from last season’s (2-hour) finale. The night started with 1.5 for AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, up 0.1 from last week.
CBS: 60 MINUTES was up 0.1 to 1.1, and THE AMAZING RACE held at 1.7. THE GOOD WIFE rose 0.1 to 1.2, and THE MENTALIST was steady at 1.2.
FOX: A down night, particularly for THE SIMPSONS, which was coming off last week’s big Lego episode. BOB’S BURGERS and AMERICAN DAD kicked things off down 0.2 to a respective 0.9/1.1, then The Simpsons fell 0.4 to 1.6, and FAMILY GUY dropped 0.1 to 2.1. COSMOS slumped 0.4 to 1.2.
NBC, ABC and FOX are all-new tonight, with CBS and CW a mix of fresh episodes and reruns. NBC headlines the evening with the season finale of THE BLACKLIST, and CW airs what is now the series finale of STAR-CROSSED.

The Sked: SUNDAY Ratings
Sunday preliminary broadcast ratings: 60 Minutes and the CBS 7:00-7:30 half hour specifically inflated by 10 minutes of the end of Masters coverage from 7:00-7:10 pm (mostly the monumentally awkward and amazingly tense ceremony in “Butler Cabin,” where the Green Jacket is awarded).
