NBC Monday inched up a tenth of a rating point from the last two weeks — a very solid night top to bottom. CBS appears to have had a good night (the best Monday in three weeks), but that 2.8 rating is probably inflated by at least two tenths of a rating point because of football (see below). ABC stabilized a bit, while FOX continues its slide on the night.
ESPN’s Monday Night Football (Texans at Jets) only impacts CBS in the fast nationals. In Houston (market size #10, 1.9% of the US), CBS station KHOU 11 carried the game locally instead of the CBS lineup. In New York (market size #1, 6.5% of the country), independent WWOR 9 carried the game so no network schedules were affected there.

NBC’s The Voice tied its best Monday rating yet this cycle and probably will go even higher (to a 4.8) in the official nationals. Meanwhile, Revolution is holding above a 3 rating, almost unheard of in the tough 10 pm hour.
