A very similar night last night in the ratings compared to last Monday.  NBC still on top despite a slight cool down, while the rank order of the other networks remains the same.

ESPN’s Monday Night Football (Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers) had a significant impact on the ABC fast nationals, as ABC affiliates in both teams’ markets carried the game locally instead of the ABC prime time schedule.  In Pittsburgh (market #23, 1.02% of the US), the game was carried over the air on ABC’s WTAE 4.  In Kansas City (market #31, 0.82% of the US), the game ran on ABC’s KMBC 9.

A 4.3 rating with adults 18-49 for The Voice from 8-10 pm, which could very likely turn into a 4.4 in the official nationals.  Revolution is now solidly below the 3 rating level.  If NBC is not lucky, the rating could be down to just above a 2 rating as it heads into its long hiatus before returning in late March along with the next cycle of The Voice.

CBS Monday is fairly stable for three of five shows in the lineup, but Partners and Hawaii Five-O remain pretty shaky.

The sad thing for ABC is that last night’s fast nationals look pretty normal right now, but those ratings will drop substantially in the official nationals.  ABC stations in both Pittsburgh and Kansas City aired the Monday Night Football game last night in prime time instead of Dancing and Castle.  That’s almost 2% of the country in the fast nationals with very inflated ratings.  Dancing with the Stars will probably decline to a 2.0 in the officials, a new low for the season.  Castle will probably go down to a 1.9, tying the season low.
