TUESDAY UPDATE: With the Masters overrun removed, 60 MINUTES fell 0.2 from early numbers. The rest of the adjustments were upward by 0.1: ONCE UPON A TIME and RESURRECTION on ABC, THE AMAZING RACE and THE MENTALIST on CBS, and THE SIMPSONS and COSMOS on FOX.
SUNDAY CABLE: The Purple Wedding episode of GAME OF THRONES did to the competition what [spoiler] did to [spoiler], scoring a massive 3.4 that was down just 0.2 from last week’s season premiere. (That was 1.3 higher than the biggest shows on network TV on Sunday–despite being in only 1/3 of US households. For good measure, it was also higher than Monday night’s THE VOICE.) Elsewhere on HBO, SILICON VALLEY held extremely well from its premiere, down just 0.1 to 1.0. VEEP was steady at 0.5. On AMC, it turned out that viewers may have tuned out on MAD MEN before its actual ending, as the premiere of its “final” season managed just 0.8, down 0.3 from last year’s premiere and representing the show’s lowest premiere since 2008. (It was, however, consistent with the show’s rating through much of last season.) Nevertheless, the proximity to MAD MEN seemed to help TURN, which rose 0.1 to 0.6 for its 2d episode. On Showtime, the season premieres of NURSE JACKIE and CALIFORNICATION had mere 0.2s, but those looked like GAME OF THRONES next to the premiere of YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, which had a microscopic 0.07. THE MTV MOVIE AWARDS probably won’t be asking Conan O’Brien back as host, down 0.4 from last year in 18-49s to 1.5, but even worse, down 1.3 from last year in the network’s 18-34 demo to 2.1. On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA rose 0.1 to 1.7 (the WATCH WHAT HAPPENS that preceded it was at 1.6), and MARRIED TO MEDICINE slipped 0.1 to 1.0.
Another drop for Resurrection on a night that wasn’t pretty for anyone.
ABC: ONCE UPON A TIME tumbled 0.3 to 1.9. At 9PM, RESURRECTION hit a new low, down 0.1 to 2.0, and while it’s still likely to be renewed given the rest of ABC’s problems, it’s no longer any kind of network savior. REVENGE was steady at 1.3.
CBS: The network line-up was pushed 10 minutes due to the late end of Masters golf, so these numbers may be adjusted tomorrow. For now, 60 MINUTES is up half a point to 1.8, THE AMAZING RACE is down 0.3 from 2 weeks ago to 1.7 (last week’s 8-11PM shows were preempted for the ACM Awards), THE GOOD WIFE is down 0.3 to 1.5, and THE MENTALIST is even at 1.5.
NBC: Fairly steady with last week, as DATELINE was at 0.8 (up 0.1 from an Ann Curry special last week), AMERICAN DREAM BUILDERS was down 0.1 to 0.7 (that post-Voice airing last week didn’t help at all), BELIEVE stayed at 1.0, and CRISIS was up 0.1 to 1.1.
FOX: Both BOB’S BURGERS and AMERICAN DAD were up 0.1 to 0.8/1.2. At 8PM, THE SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY were both down, respectively by 0.3 to 1.6 and by 0.2 to 2.1. COSMOS dropped 0.3 to a new low 1.2.
All the 8-9PM shows tonight are new (including the season finale of MOM), and all the 10PM hours are reruns, with CBS trying a run of PERSON OF INTEREST out in that slot. On cable, TNT has the season finale of DALLAS.

The Sked: SUNDAY Ratings
Sunday preliminary broadcast ratings: 60 Minutes and the CBS 7:00-7:30 half hour specifically inflated by 10 minutes of the end of Masters coverage from 7:00-7:10 pm (mostly the monumentally awkward and amazingly tense ceremony in “Butler Cabin,” where the Green Jacket is awarded).
