SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.16.2018

A pair of TV veterans made their annual visits.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  THE SOUND OF MUSIC ticked down from last year’s Sunday run to 0.7.

FOX:  MISS UNIVERSE held last year’s 1.1.

CBS:  The network had the late afternoon national NFL game, so comparisons are to November 25, the last time that was the case.  60 MINUTES gained 0.4 to 2.4, GOD FRIENDED ME was up 0.1 to 1.1, and NCIS: LA was steady at 0.9.  The night ended with a rerun of FBI at 0.7, which was 0.1 higher than last week’s new MADAM SECRETARY.

CW:  The IHEARTRADIO JINGLE BALL special was at 0.2, and DISCONTINUED was at 0.1.

NBC:  The preliminary 4.9 for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down 0.2 from last week’s early number.

Tonight’s special programming include an AMERICA’S GOT TALENT hour on NBC, and 2018: IN MEMORIUM on ABC.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs. Saturday & Sunday cable ratings will be posted Tuesday morning.
