ABC: After a run of I WANT A DOG FOR CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN at 0.3, KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS was steady at 0.4. THE YEAR: 2019 was at 0.4, down 0.1 from last year’s edition.
CBS: 60 MINUTES dropped 0.1 to 0.6. A pair of specials followed: THE PRICE IS RIGHT AT NIGHT at 0.7, and A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS at 0.3. The night wound up with a rerun NCIS: LA at 0.3.
CW: CHRISTMAS CAROLER CHALLENGE was at 0.1.
NBC: The preliminary 4.0 for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down 0.4 from last week’s early number.
FOX: Thanks to its late afternoon national NFL game lead-in, a rerun of THE MASKED SINGER was robust at 1.2.
Tonight, the first season of HBO’s HIS DARK MATERIALS reaches its finale.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
