SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.8.2019

 

CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS had a solid start.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CW:  SUPERGIRL aired the first installment of the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS crossover and tripled its last rating to 0.6.  However, few fans stayed for the CRISIS AFTERMATH after-show at 0.2.

ABC:  AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS dropped 0.1 to 0.7, and its AMERICA, THIS IS YOU anniversary special was at 0.6.  KIDS SAY THE DARNEDEST THINGS fell 0.2 from its last airing on November 17 to 0.4, and THE ROOKIE was steady at 0.6.

CBS:  The network had the late afternoon NFL game for the second consecutive week.  60 MINUTES lost 0.3 to 1.6, GOD FRIENDED ME returned from a week off up 0.2 to 0.8, NCIS: LA dropped 0.2 to 0.6, and the series finale of MADAM SECRETARY aired out of primetime in much of the country with a steady preliminary 0.5.

FOX:  The MISS UNIVERSE pageant was at 0.9, down 0.2 from the 2018 edition.

NBC:  The preliminary 4.1 for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down 1.4 from last week’s early rating.

BATWOMAN continues CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS tonight.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
