Megyn Kelly’s much-hyped NBC debut was muted.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

ABC:  The preliminary rating for Game 2 of the NBA FINALS was 5.7, down 0.2 from Thursday’s Game 1, but up 0.2 from 2016’s Game 2.

NBC:  SUNDAY NIGHT WITH MEGYN KELLY debuted at 0.8, which isn’t much of a number, but managed to be 0.2 higher than 60 MINUTES.  In the 25-54 “news demo,” SUNDAY  NIGHT’s lead was a bit wider, 1.2 vs 0.9.  Afterwards, a 3-hour AMERICAN NINJA WARRIORS special was at 1.1.

CBS:  60 MINUTES was steady with last week, albeit at a low 0.6.  Drama reruns followed at 0.3-0.5.

FOX:  Sitcom reruns at 0.3-0.6.

FOX’s GOTHAM airs its 2-hour season finale tonight, while DAYTIME DIVAS premieres on E!, and SHADOWHUNTERS and STITCHERS return to Freeform.

 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
