NBC: After DATELINE at 0.5 and a US WOMENS’ GYMNASTICS special at 0.6, the series finale of SHADES OF BLUE was steady with last week’s 0.6.
CBS: 60 MINUTES lost half a point from last week’s golf-boosted episode, to 0.6 then BIG BROTHER held at 1.6. The night ended with reruns at 0.4/0.4.
ABC: THE $100,000 PYRAMID remained at 0.8, and TO TELL THE TRUTH was down 0.1 to 0.6. The night began with reruns at 0.7/0.8.
FOX: Reruns at 0.3-0.6.
Tonight, CBS has a special primetime CARPOOL KARAOKE tonight featuring Paul McCartney, and Preseason MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL returns to ESPN. In addition, the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS will air not just on its mother network, but on many of MTV’s Viacom-owned cohorts.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
