SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 9.16.2018

 

Another dominating night for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

NBC:  SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL is at a preliminary 6.2.

CBS:  The early evening was inflated by the late national NFL game, which pushed 60 MINUTES to 2.6 compared to last week’s 0.8.  BIG BROTHER gained 0.1 to 1.7, and was followed by reruns at 0.7/0.5.

ABC:  After 0.7 for an AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS rerun, CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD was down 0.2 from its last new episode to 0.9, THE $100,000 PYRAMID dropped 0.2 to 0.7, and a rerun of TO TELL THE TRUTH was at 0.5.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.6-0.9 (the high end also inflated by late afternoon local NFL games).

Tonight’s event is NBC’s telecast of THE EMMY AWARDS, which FOX will counter with INSIDE THE MANSON CULT: THE LOST TAPES.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs. Saturday & Sunday cable ratings will be posted Tuesday morning.
