SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 9.30.2018

Football adjustments will modify some of the preliminary numbers below.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CBS:  60 MINUTES is currently at 2.6, boosted greatly from last week’s 1.0 by the NFL.  The series premiere of GOD FRIENDED ME is at 1.4, the same as the preliminary number for last year’s since-canceled WISDOM OF THE CROWD.  The season premiere of NCIS: LA was down 0.1 to 1.1 compared to last fall’s preliminary rating.  The night ended with a rerun of the MAGNUM PI pilot at 0.8.

FOX:  The season premiere of THE SIMPSONS is currently up 0.4 from last year to 1.8, but considering the extremely high rerun numbers that preceded it (1.7/1.9), these are likely driven by local NFL overruns.  The season premiere of BOB’S BURGERS is down 0.1 to 1.2 (it ran at 7:30PM last fall).  The season premiere of FAMILY GUY is down 0.1 to 1.2, and the official series premiere of REL is down 0.1 to 0.8 compared to last fall’s premiere of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH in that slot.

NBC:  The preliminary 5.5 for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL is down 0.2 from last week’s early number.

ABC:  The season premiere of AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS was at 0.8, followed by a run of the movie FROZEN at 0.6.  A SHARK TANK rerun ended the night at 0.5.

Tonight, CBS premieres its new sitcoms THE NEIGHBORHOOD and HAPPY TOGETHER.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs. Saturday & Sunday cable ratings will be posted Tuesday morning.
