Perhaps the busiest network night since the season began last September.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: After ONCE UPON A TIME returned at the same 0.9 as its midseason finale in December, TIME AFTER TIME premiered at an extremely lackluster 0.6. The arrival next week of the typically low-rated AMERICAN CRIME is unlikely to help the line-up, which had its highest rating for its lowest-profile show: 1.0 for AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS.
NBC: LITTLE BIG SHOTS easily topped the night at 2.0, down 0.9 from last year’s premiere but up 0.7 from the May finale. (It was preceded by a 1.0 rerun.) CHICAGO JUSTICE had its timeslot premiere at 1.4, down 0.3 from Wednesday’s airing as part of a 3-part crossover event, but nevertheless the #2 show of the night. SHADES OF BLUE’s season premiere was subdued at 1.0, down 0.9 from last year’s premiere and also down 0.1 from its season finale.
FOX: After a 0.5 BOB’S BURGERS rerun and a 0.8 new episode (down 0.1 from its last airing in the 9:30PM slot), THE SIMPSONS was steady at 1.1, then MAKING HISTORY debuted at 0.9, up 0.2 from the season finale of SON OF ZORN in that slot. FAMILY GUY was up 0.2 from its last airing to 1.2, and THE LAST MAN ON EARTH returned at 1.0, up 0.1 from its midseason finale.
CBS: 60 MINUTES was up 0.1 from 2 weeks ago to 1.1, then NCIS: LA was up 0.1 from a 9PM airing to 1.2. MADAM SECRETARY aired for the first time since January, down 0.1 to 0.8, and ELEMENTARY was down 0.1 from 2 weeks ago to 0.6.
THE BACHELOR takes up all of ABC primetime tonight, while CBS and CW feature line-ups with some reruns.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

The Sked: SUNDAY Ratings
Sunday preliminary broadcast ratings: 60 Minutes and the CBS 7:00-7:30 half hour specifically inflated by 10 minutes of the end of Masters coverage from 7:00-7:10 pm (mostly the monumentally awkward and amazingly tense ceremony in “Butler Cabin,” where the Green Jacket is awarded).
