UPDATED: THE SKED CABLE/NETWORK SUNDAY SCORECARD – 6/1/14

NETWORK UPDATE:  THE BACHELORETTE gained 0.1 from preliminary numbers.

SATURDAY CABLE:  ORPHAN BLACK (BBCAmerica) slipped a tiny bit to 0.23, while IN THE FLESH was demoted to 11PM and stayed at 0.03.  In the 10PM slot, THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW was at 0.12.  The season finale of DAVINCI’S DEMONS on Starz was at 0.15.

SUNDAY CABLE:  As preliminary numbers yesterday had suggested, GAME OF THRONES (HBO) tied its all-time high 3.9 in the 18-49 demo, not to mention an extra 0.9 at 11:30PM.  SILICON VALLEY’s season finale was slightly lower than expected, down 0.1 to 0.9.  VEEP was also slightly down to 0.5, tying it with LAST WEEK TONIGHT.  On AMC, the premiere of HALT AND CATCH FIRE could only manage a disappointing 0.34 in the demo, narrowly ahead of TURN’s 0.29, which was roughly the same as last week.  On Showtime, PENNY DREADFUL remained at 0.32, while NURSE JACKIE (0.21) and CALIFORNICATION (0.16) were slightly up.  On Lifetime, DEVIOUS MAIDS gained 0.1 to 0.7, with DROP DEAD DIVA at 0.5.  SALEM (WGN America) climbed a bit to 0.21.  Bravo aired a REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA special at 1.0, while MARRIED TO MEDICINE was at 0.8 and REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY was at 0.7.  Game 7 of the NHL PLAYOFFS Western Conference Finals on NBC Sports Network was at a robust 1.5, with the US MEN’S SOCCER GAME (ESPN) at 0.5.

For the moment, at least, the broadcast networks have handed Sunday nights to cable.

FOX:  A 1.3 rating was all any network could muster on Sunday, and FOX had that for the night’s new episode of COSMOS (up 0.2 from its last airing 2 weeks ago) and rerun of FAMILY GUY.  ENLISTED is still hoping to generate some interest to raise the canceled show from the dead elsewhere, but it didn’t find many takers with a 0.4 for the first of its burn-off episodes.

ABC:  THE BACHELORETTE was at 1.6, down 0.3 from last Monday’s episode.  Prior to that, a rerun of AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS had a 1.0, but at 10PM, a rerun AGENTS OF SHIELD only managed 0.4.

NBC:  The burn-offs of BELIEVE and CRISIS were at 0.9/0.8, respectively up 0.2/0.1 from last week.  The early evening rerun of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was at 0.9.

CBS:  All reruns, highlighted by 0.9 for 60 MINUTES.

Some new arrivals tonight, as the broadcast and cable networks get their summer schedules into gear.  ABC brings back sudser MISTRESSES and A&E launches a new season of LONGMIRE.  In addition, CW starts airing the remaining episodes of last season’s BEAUTY & THE BEAST, which would be a burn-off except that the show is actually coming back (although not until midseason).
