>A very ugly Sunday night in prime time on the broadcast networks, with no network averaging above a 2 rating for the night.  CBS premiered NYC 22 at 10 pm to a very lame 1.5 rating with Adults 18-49, while ABC aired part 4 of its Titanic mini-series (parts 1-3 aired Saturday night), scoring only a 0.9 rating at 9 pm, pulling GCB down to a 1.5 rating, a new low for the Dallas soap.

CBS won another Sunday night but only with a 1.8 rating for the entire evening.  Amazing Race (2.5) was the lone bright spot for CBS (and the highest-rated program on any broadcast network last night).  The Good Wife (an original episode) turned in its usual weak 1.8 rating at 9 pm, and no one was there to great the rookie NYPD cops in NYC 22 at 10pm (1.5 rating).  We’ll have a look at the tepid on-air promo campaign CBS gave to the new cop drama later in this week’s Promo Watch.  CBS kicked of the evening with a full-hour 60 Minutes tribute to the late Mike Wallace, tying a season low 1.4 rating.  Last year on this night: 60 Minutes (1.4), Amazing Race (2.4), Undercover Boss (2.0) and CSI: Miami (2.2).

Very similar results for NBC last night compared to last week.  Harry’s Law was down one tenth of a rating point to a 0.9, while Celebrity Apprentice averaged a 2.1 from 9-11 pm (which could go up to a 2.2 in the official nationals).  On this night last year:  Dateline (0.9), America’s Next Great Restaurant (1.2) and Celebrity Apprentice (2.6).

ABC put another nail in the GCB coffin (they should get a Peabody for that),  giving the soap a repeat America’s Funniest Home Videos, a repeat Once Upon a Time, and part 4 of the weak Titanic mini-series (a low-budget Canadian production) in front of a GCB original.  Titanic parts 1-3 aired Saturday from 8-11 pm (averaging a 0.8 rating), while the final installment aired from 9-10 pm last night and received a weak 0.9 rating.  On this night last year on ABC: AFHV (1.6), Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2.0), Desperate Housewives (2.7) and Brothers & Sisters (1.7).

An original Simpsons aired last night (along with original Bob’s Burgers and Cleveland Show), but without an original Family Guy, “animation domination” didn’t get much traction last night.  Last year 8-10 pm on this night: Simpsons repeat (1.7), American Dad (2.2), Family Guy (3.0) and Cleveland Show (2.3).
