It looks like we’ll never find out what that creepy Damien-like kid was doing with the genetically mutated assassin (or who Amy Irving was supposed to be), let alone what Albert Einstein’s translated final equations were talking about. After three horribly rated episodes, including a 1.0 this week, ABC has yanked ZERO HOUR from its schedule, with no plans to air it elsewhere (although the remaining episodes could end up burned off during the summer). The Thursday 8PM slot has been a death march for dramas on ABC throughout the last few years, and for now the network will retreat to reality shows like Shark Tank, Wife Swap and Wipeout there.
In other near-death news for shows theoretically on the bubble, Zach Cregger of GUYS WITH KIDS has taken a role in a new NBC pilot. Although technically the new show is in 2nd position to any remaining duties Cregger would have on Guys, the fact that NBC is putting him in another project makes it pretty clear what the network thinks its chances are.
