SCANDAL arrived as Week 2 shows continued to settle in.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

ABC:  After GREY’S ANATOMY dropped 0.3 from last week’s 2-hour premiere to 2.0, SCANDAL premiered at 1.4.  That’s down 0.7 from last season’s January start (which followed a 2.6 lead-in from GREY’S), but up 0.2 from the season finale.  HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER was down 0.1 to a series low 0.9.

NBC:  WILL & GRACE again dominated the line-up, but it fell an entire point from last week’s debut to 2.0.  Elsewhere, SUPERSTORE shed 0.1 to 1.2, THE GOOD PLACE lost 0.2 to 1.2, GREAT NEWS fell 0.3 to 1.0, and CHICAGO FIRE dropped 0.3 to 1.2.

FOX:  GOTHAM had a moral victory of sorts by holding on to last week’s 0.9, but THE ORVILLE fell 0.2 to 0.9.

CBS:  The 3.2 preliminary rating for THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL is down 0.2 from last week’s early number.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

ABC’s revamped ONCE UPON A TIME has its season premiere tonight.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
