DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The fall finales of GREY’S ANATOMY (1.3) and A MILLION LITTLE THINGS (0.8) were steady, and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER was down 0.1 to 0.4.

CBS:  YOUNG SHELDON dropped 0.2 to 1.0, THE UNICORN was steady at 0.7, MOM lost 0.1 to 0.8, and CAROL’S SECOND ACT held at 0.6.  EVIL remained at 0.5.

NBC:  SUPERSTORE slipped 0.1 to 0.7, PERFECT HARMONY stayed at 0.4, THE GOOD PLACE was steady at 0.6, and WILL & GRACE was up 0.1 to 0.5.  SVU lost 0.1 to 0.6.

CW:  SUPERNATURAL (0.2) and LEGACIES (0.2) were both down 0.1.

FOX:  The preliminary 2.6 for THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down 0.7 from last week’s early number.

 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
