SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11.26.2020

In the absence of a primetime NFL game, a huge Thanksgiving win for THE MASKED SINGER.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After holiday reruns at 0.4/0.4, a new WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY was at 0.4.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.3-0.4 were followed by a STAR TREK: DISCOVERY steady at 0.2.

NBC:  The network was forced to make last-minute changes when the NFL rescheduled, and ended up with reruns of the NATIONAL DOG SHOW at 0.6 and THE WALL at 0.4.

FOX:  With no real competition and an afternoon NFL lead-in (which could lead to some adjustments in finals), THE MASKED SINGER zoomed 1.3 from last Wednesday’s episode to 3.0, and I CAN HEAR YOUR VOICE was up 0.6 to 1.6.

CW:  The finale of GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE held at 0.1.

Tonight, the broadcast Christmas season begins in earnest, with holiday specials on every network except FOX.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available this afternoon with the broadcast finals.
