SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.20.2018

 

Not much noise from any of the night’s finales.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After another run of A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS at 1.2, the season finale of THE GREAT AMERICAN BAKING SHOW was up 0.1 to 0.7.

CBS:  In a sea of 0.5-1.0 reruns, the season finale of MURPHY BROWN was adrift at a steady 0.7.

NBC:  The series finale of TIMELESS was at 0.6, steady with its May season finale.  It was followed by an episode of DEAL OR NO DEAL at 0.5.

CW:  The HOWIE MANDEL STAND-UP EXTRAVAGANZA was at 0.2.

FOX:  A rerun of A CHRISTMAS STORY LIVE at 0.4.

The networks are mostly in rerun and holiday special mode, but there are new episodes tonight for NBC’s MIDNIGHT, TEXAS and CW’s DYNASTY.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
