SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.5.2019

 

NOTE:  Due to Thanksgiving, comparisons are to 2 weeks ago unless otherwise noted.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  Tis the season for A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, and at 1.0 it was down 0.2 from the 2018 airing.  SAME TIME NEXT CHRISTMAS didn’t do much for the cause of network TV-movies at 0.6.

CBS:  YOUNG SHELDON (1.1) and THE UNICORN (0.8) were both up 0.1.  MOM (0.8), CAROL’S SECOND ACT (0.6) and EVIL (0.5) were all steady.

NBC:  After a holiday-themed SNL clip show at 0.6, MAKING IT dropped 0.1 from its last installment to 0.4.

CW:  SUPERNATURAL gained 0.1 to 0.3, and LEGACIES held at 0.3.

FOX:  The preliminary 3.7 for THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down 1.4 from the early rating for the Thanksgiving night game.

ABC preempts its line-up tonight for COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
