NOTE: We’ll be holding our analysis of Thursday night network ratings until final numbers this afternoon, because ratings for each network were inflated as listed below by local major-market pre-emptions for a full slate of NFL Preseason games:

  • ABC (pre-emptions in Los Angeles for the Chargers, Cleveland, Nashville and Buffalo)
  • CBS (in New York for the Jets, Boston, San Francisco for the 49ers, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Miami and Cincinnati)
  • NBC (in New York for the Giants, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore, Tampa, Milwaukee, Green Bay and Phoenix)
  • FOX (in Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco for the Raiders, Seattle, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, New Orleans and Jacksonville)
  • The CW (Atlanta and Charlotte). In other words, come back this afternoon for accurate program ratings.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
