Fasts Demo 2015 Dec THU.17

CBS:  NOTE:  fast nationals may be inflated somewhat by local pre-emptions for NFL THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL in Tampa-St. Petersberg (WTSP) and St. Louis (KMOV).  For now, THE BIG BANG THEORY (which aired a heavily hyped episode) is up 0.3 from last week, LIFE IN PIECES is up 0.6, MOM is up 0.4, 2 BROKE GIRLS is up 0.2, and ELEMENTARY is also up 0.2, so we’ll see how many of those gains survive to the end of the day.

ABC:  After 90 minutes of reruns both holiday-themed (PREP AND LANDING specials at 0.8/0.9) and not (MODERN FAMILY at 0.9), the year’s BARBARA WALTERS 10 MOST FASCINATING PEOPLE special was at 1.0, down 0.4 from last year’s edition (which ran on a Sunday).

NBC:  A pair of holiday rerun specials were at 0.5 (HOW MURRAY SAVED CHRISTMAS) and 0.6 (KELLY CLARKSON’S CAUTIONARY CHRISTMAS TALE), and then a RUNNING WILD that featured President Obama was at 0.9.

FOX:  0.5s for both AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN TOP 10 STORIES OF 2015 and WORLD’S FUNNIEST.

CW:  An IHEARTRADIO JINGLE BALL special at 0.4.

Only FOX airs regular programming tonight, against a mix of reruns and specials on the other networks.  Cable features season finales for Syfy’s Z NATION and Cinemax’s THE KNICK.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
