DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CW:  THE FLASH lost 0.1 to 0.5, and the final season premiere of ARROW was at 0.3, down 0.1 from last season’s premiere (on a Monday).

NBC:  THE VOICE dropped 0.2 to 1.3, and THIS IS US was down 0.1 to 1.5.  NEW AMSTERDAM held at 0.8.

ABC:  THE CONNERS (1.1) and BLESS THIS MESS (0.7) each lost 0.1.  MIXED-ISH stayed at 0.7, but BLACK-ISH was down 0.1 to 0.6.  EMERGENCE was steady at 0.5.

FOX:  THE RESIDENT (0.7) and EMPIRE (0.8) were steady.

CBS:  NCIS: remained at 1.1, and FBI actually gained 0.1 to 0.9.  NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was steady at 0.7.

Tonight, NBC airs its first CHICAGO crossover saga of the season.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
