THE VOICE finale sang more softly.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

NBC:  After a recap hour at 1.4 (down 0.3 from the December 2016 hour), THE VOICE cycle finale was at 2.0, down half a point from last fall (up 0.3 from last Tuesday).

ABC:  More runs of OLOF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE (1.0) and PREP & LANDING (0.9) were followed by THE YEAR: 2017 at 0.8, down 0.2 from the 2016 edition.

CBS:  A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS was at 0.6.  Reruns followed at 0.5/0.4.

FOX:  Reruns of LETHAL WEAPON and THE MICK at 0.6/0.4, then a rerun of ICE AGE: A MAMMOTH CHRISTMAS at 0.4.

CW:  A run of the movie BIG GAME was at 0.2.

Tonight it’s SURVIVOR’s turn to end its fall cycle, while NBC indulges in some corporate synergy by airing the original PITCH PERFECT the night before the third in the studio franchise begins its run.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
