SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.3.2019

 

Another vintage holiday special took the honors.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  BRAD PAISLEY THINKS HE’S SPECIAL was at 0.8, and this year’s edition of CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS dropped 0.1 from 2018 to 0.7.

NBC:  A run of the original animated HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS was at 1.1, followed by HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: HOMECOMING at 0.9.  THE VOICE lost 0.1 to 1.0, and MAKING IT held Monday’s 0.5.

FOX:  THE RESIDENT was steady at 0.8, and EMPIRE gained 0.1 to 0.7.

CW:  THE FLASH rose 0.1 to 0.5, and ARROW stayed at 0.3.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.5-0.7.

FOX premieres its holiday miniseries THE MOODYS tonight, and NBC airs the annual CHRISTMAS AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER special.  In addition, VIKINGS returns to History.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
