SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3.5.2019

A special episode of THE BACHELOR changed the night’s dynamics a bit.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  THE BACHELOR was at 1.6, more or less doubling the network’s normal rating in that slot, although down 0.4 from Monday’s episode.  The big lead-in boosted THE ROOKIE by 0.2 to 0.8.

NBC:  THE VOICE dropped 0.2 from last Tuesday to 1.8.  The 9-11PM shows returned from a week off, with THIS IS US down 0.1 to 1.7, and NEW AMSTERDAM steady at 1.0.

CW:  THE FLASH aired for the first time in 3 weeks and was steady at 0.6.  ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO gained 0.1 from last week to 0.3.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.4-0.6.

FOX:  A rerun MASTERCHEF CELEBRITY SHOWDOWN at 0.6.

ABC airs a special AMERICAN IDOL tonight, and will hope to lend a hand to lead-out WHISKEY CAVALIER.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The chart has been corrected, specifically last year’s rating for The Bachelor.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
