SHOWBUZZDAILY Tuesday Network Scorecard – 12.27.2016

Well hi, NO TOMORROW!

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis follows the chart.

CBS:  The annual KENNEDY CENTER HONORS special rose 0.1 from last year to 1.0, not quite at the level of the NCIS rerun that preceded it.

CW:  The network is so desperate to be rid of NO TOMORROW that it threw a new episode on the line-up in the midst of 2 weeks of reruns.  Not surprisingly, it tied its series low 0.2, and was below its lead-in from a rerun of THE FLASH.

ABC:  A 20/20 about recent celebrity deaths scored 0.9, airing after 2 hours of sitcom reruns at 0.7-0.9.

NBC:  Reruns, topped by THE WALL at 1.1.

FOX:  More reruns, at 0.4-0.5.

FOX has a primetime COLLEGE FOOTBALL bowl game tonight, and CBS contributes a new episode of UNDERCOVER BOSS as the parade of reruns marches on.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

This feature will return in January.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back Thursday morning for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day, later than usual because of the Christmas holiday.
