SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8.2.2016

 

BACHELOR IN PARADISE opened with a bounce.

ABC:  BACHELOR IN PARADISE premiered at 1.4, 0.4 higher than its 2015 start (which aired on a Sunday), and steady with the 2014 premiere.  It nevertheless gave MISTRESSES  a lower lead-in than that show had been getting from THE BACHELORETTE on Mondays, and the drama was down a tenth or two from its usual level to 0.6.

NBC:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was up 0.1 from last Tuesday to 2.4, and RUNNING WILD gained 0.3 from Monday’s season premiere to 1.4.

FOX:  The 2-hour season finale of COUPLED was at 0.4, steady with last week’s hour.

CBS:  ZOO added 0.1 to 0.8, sandwiched between 0.8/0.7 procedural reruns.

CW:  Local baseball preemptions, including one in NY, may shift the current numbers, which have 2 episodes of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY at 0.5, and MADTV at 0.4.

Tonight’s network event is ABC’s CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL: COUNTRY’S NIGHT TO ROCK special.  Freeform airs season finales of BABY DADDY and YOUNG & HUNGRY.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
