It was AMERICA’S GOT TALENT in a landslide.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: AMERICA’S GOT TALENT gained 0.2 for a big 2.6. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER retained last week’s 1.6.
ABC: BACHELOR IN PARADISE was steady at 1.4, and the AFTER-SHOW was up 0.2 to 0.9, with 0.4 sitcom reruns filling out the night.
CBS: ZOO lost 0.1 to 0.7, with 0.9/0.6 reruns on either side of it.
CW: MADTV was up 0.1 to 0.3, although that was below the 0.4 rerun of THE FLASH that preceded it.
FOX: Reruns at 0.4-0.5.
Tonight’s line-up includes the return of FXX’s buzzy (if little-watched) YOU’RE THE WORST, and finales for OWN’s hit GREENLEAF and NBC’s workmanlike THE NIGHT SHIFT.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
