Talent competition shows continued to dominate network television.
NBC: After THE VOICE‘s new Tuesday low 3.0 (down 0.2 from last week), AMERICA’S GOT TALENT premiered with a 3.1 rating from 9-11 pm (3.0, 3.1, 3.2 and 3.0 by half hour). This was its lowest-ever premiere; last year the show debuted with a 3.7 rating, although that was on an in-season Monday, May 14 (the week after The Voice‘s earlier finale).
FOX: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE fell 0.3 from last week to 1.6.
ABC: EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS managed just 1.0, down 0.2 from last week, then a rerun BODY OF PROOF drew a 0.7.
CBS: After 1.0/1.1 for reruns, BROOKLYN D.A. fell 0.2 from last week to 0.8.
CW: 0.2/0.2 for a pair of reruns.
Every network (except CW) has at least an hour of fresh material airing tonight, but none of it is likely to start any sparks, with the NBA Finals on tap for Thursday.
