THE SKED’S TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5/21/13

Viewers continued to check out early on the season last night.

Daily Comparison 2013 Tue May 21

ABC:  The season finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS was up a big 0.8 from last week to 2.6–but that was also down a big 0.7 from last season’s finale, for the lowest rated finish in the show’s history.  The night started with a THE BACHELOR’S FUNNIEST MOMENTS clip show that did a 1.2.

NBC:  After a 2.0 for an NBC News special about the Oklahoma tornados, THE VOICE aired its lowest-rated Tuesday episode of the spring cycle, a 3.1 that was down 0.4 from last week (its 5th consecutive Tuesday decline, which may not bode well for next fall) and just barely avoided a series low. The GRIMM season finale was steady at its Tuesday-low 1.7.

FOX:  SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE had a 1.9, even with last week.

CBS:  Already in summer reruns, highlighted by 1.4 for a 10PM NCIS.

CW:  0.3 for a pair of reruns.

Tonight marks the official end of the 2012-13 broadcast television season, and as such it features season finales for CRIMINAL MINDS, THE MIDDLE, MODERN FAMILY, NASHVILLE, SVU and CHICAGO FIRE.  FOX counterprograms with a new MASTERCHEF.
