THE SKED’S TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3/26/13

The Voice continues to make NBC executives raise their voices in song.

NBC:  In final numbers, the return of the Tuesday edition of THE VOICE was at the show’s fall Tuesday average  of 4.1,  tripling what the network has been doing in that timeslot since the fall run ended.  Thanks to its presence, GO ON (which also featured a much-promoted appearance by Matthew Perry’s Friend Courtney Cox), almost doubled its rating to 1.9, and THE NEW NORMAL was almost double last week’s number at 1.3. (The latter show will run its hour-long season finale behind The Voice next week, while Go On gets 2 airings after The Office on Thursdays.)  The Voice effect had mostly worn off by 10PM, though, when SMASH only climbed 0.3 to a still-fatal 1.0.

FOX:  The amped-up NBC schedule didn’t hurt FOX very much, as HELL’S KITCHEN held even at 2.0, and NEW GIRL dipped only 0.1 to 2.2, and THE MINDY PROJECT fell 0.2 to 1.5.

ABC:  SPLASH fell into the pool face-first against The Voice, plunging almost a full ratings point to 1.7.  The DANCING WITH THE STARS results show and BODY OF PROOF, however, were actually up 0.2 and 0.1 to 2.3 and 1.6.

CBS:  NCIS was even at 3.2, and its LA cohort slipped 0.3 to 2.6.  GOLDEN BOY probably wrote its  epitaph by falling 0.3 to 1.4.

CW:  An Easter week presentation of HERE COMES PETER COTTONTAIL had a 0.4, following by 0.2 for a BEAUTY AND THE BEAST rerun.

All the networks have fresh line-ups tonight except CBS, which airs reruns after a new SURVIVOR.
