SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 1.27.2021

 

NBC faced little challenge.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The Big 3 networks were all preempted by Inauguration Day coverage last week, so most comparisons are to 2 weeks ago.  THE GOLDBERGS (0.5) and AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE (0.4) both dropped 0.2, while THE CONNERS (0.5) and CALL YOUR MOTHER (0.4) were both down 0.1.  FOR LIFE aired for the first time since December 16 and lost 0.1 to 0.3.

CBS:  THE PRICE IS RIGHT AT NIGHT (0.7), SEAL TEAM (0.5) and SWAT (0.4) were all steady.

NBC:  CHICAGO MED (0.9), CHICAGO FIRE (0.9) and CHICAGO PD (0.9) were all down 0.1.

FOX:  THE MASKED DANCER fell 0.2 to 0.5, and NAME THAT TUNE held at 0.6.

CW:  RIVERDALE (0.1) and NANCY DREW (0.1) were steady.

Tonight, an original THE UNICORN will have to make do with a slate of reruns as its lead-in.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available this afternoon with the broadcast finals.
