SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.9.2020

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The season premiere of THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT was at 0.7, steady with its 2019 premiere (on a Monday).  FOR LIFE gained 0.1 to 0.4.

CBS:  THE AMAZING RACE held at 0.7, SEAL TEAM was up 0.1 to 0.6, and SWAT was at 0.5.

NBC:  THE GRINCH MUSICAL was at a dim 0.6, and notably by the 2nd hour it had lost 0.2 in the demo and over 800K viewers.  A rerun of the NURSES premiere was at 0.3

FOX:  A holiday sing-a-long episode of THE MASKED SINGER fell 0.6 from last week’s regular episode to 1.0, and the season finale of I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE was at the same 0.8 as Monday’s episode.

CW:  DEVILS was steady at 0.1, and a GREATEST HOLIDAY COMMERCIALS special was at 0.1.

Tonight, NBC airs the specials ONE NIGHT ONLY: THE BEST OF BROADWAY and TIME PERSON OF THE YEAR.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available this afternoon with the broadcast finals.
