SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3.27.2019

OK numbers for the night’s newcomers.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CBS:  SURVIVOR gained 0.2 from last week’s 2-hour episode to 1.5, then MILLION DOLLAR MILE debuted at 1.0 (down to 0.9 by the 2nd half-hour).  SEAL TEAM was steady at 0.6.

CW:  After a steady 0.3 for RIVERDALE, JANE THE VIRGIN returned at 0.3, the same rating as its last premiere in October 2017 (on a Friday), and up 0.1 from that season’s finale.

NBC:  The line-up aired new episodes for the first time since February 27, and CHICAGO MED (1.2), CHICAGO FIRE (1.2) and HICAGO PD (1.1) were all steady.

FOX:  EMPIRE (1.1) and STAR (0.9) were each down 0.1, and if those numbers hold in finals, they’ll be series lows.

ABC:  With reruns at 0.4-0.7 as lead-ins, WHISKEY CAVALIER dropped 0.1 to a new low 0.5.

The NCAA TOURNAMENT returns tonight, and there’s plenty going on elsewhere, with the premiere of ABBY’S on NBC, and finales for CW’s LEGACIES, Comedy Central’s BROAD CITY and THE OTHER TWO, and POP’s FLACK.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
