WHISKEY CAVALIER seems to be hanging by a thread.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: The network did no favors to its 10PM show by preceding it with reruns at 0.4-0.6. Still, a 0.1 decline to 0.4 for WHISKEY CAVALIER isn’t good news.
CBS: SURVIVOR slipped 0.1 to 1.4, and THE AMAZING RACE dropped 0.2 from last week’s premiere to 1.0. SEAL TEAM was steady at 0.7.
NBC: The line-up aired new episodes for the first time since April 3, and all was steady: CHICAGO MED at 1.0, CHICAGO FIRE at 1.1, and CHICAGO PD at 1.0.
FOX: EMPIRE (1.1) and STAR (0.9) held last week’s numbers.
CW: RIVERDALE gained 0.1 to 0.3, and JANE THE VIRGIN stayed at 0.2.
ABC preempts its line-up for the NFL DRAFT tonight (simulcast on ESPN). In addition, there are finales for FOX’s GOTHAM (the series finale) and THE ORVILLE, as well as CW’s SUPERNATURAL.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
