Summer TV means the return of BIG BROTHER.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

CBS:  BIG BROTHER’s season premiere held up fairly well, down 0.2 from 2016 to 1.7.  It was followed by a 0.7 rerun of CRIMINAL MINDS.

NBC:  LITTLE BIG SHOTS (0.9) and THE CARMICHAEL SHOW (0.7) were each down 0.1 from last week.  They were followed by 0.6/0.4 reruns. 

FOX:  MASTERCHEF was steady at 1.0, and THE F WORD lost 0.1 to 0.6.

ABC:  TO TELL THE TRUTH held at 0.6.  It followed reruns at 0.5-0.6.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

A piece of pop culture history returns tonight with a rebooted BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS on ABC.  In addition, ZOO begins its 3rd season on CBS.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
