Airing a regular line-up on July 4th didn’t work out well for CBS.

NBC:  MACY’S 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR took the night, although at 1.2 it was town slightly from last year’s 1.3.  As usual, the network ran an edited version of the special at 10PM, with a 0.9 that was down 0.2 from last year. 

CBS:  BIG BROTHER toppled by 0.6 from last Wednesday to 0.9, and CODE BLACK was down 0.2 to 0.6.  (Those scores were still much better than the 0.4 reruns the network ran last July 4th.)  The night started with reruns of YOUNG SHELDON at 0.5/0.5.

ABC:  Reruns at 0.4 across the board.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.4/0.4.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1, although local preemptions could affect those numbers.

The networks air their regular summer line-ups tonight.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
