SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11.16.2016

EMPIRE moved up from last week’s low, but it’s still not what it used to be.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

FOX:  LETHAL WEAPON dipped 0.1 to 1.7, and EMPIRE gained 0.2 to 3.1, still a huge 1.3 behind its ratings at this point in 2015.

NBC:  The midseason finale of BLINDSPOT rose 0.1 to 1.1, and the 2-hour midseason finale of CHICAGO PD was at 1.1/1.3, steady in the 10PM hour but 0.2 below last week’s SVU at 9PM.

ABC:  THE GOLDBERGS rose 0.2 to 2.0, SPEECHLESS was up 0.1 to 1.7, and BLACK-ISH was also up 0.1 to 1.6, but MODERN FAMILY lost 0.1 to 2.2.  DESIGNATED SURVIVOR held at 1.2.

CBS:  SURVIVOR dropped 0.1 to 1.8, and CRIMINAL MINDS gained 0.1 to 1.4.  CODE BLACK stayed at 0.9.

CW:  ARROW and FREQUENCY (which we now know won’t be getting a back-order) remained at last week’s 0.7/0.3.

It’s midseason finale night on ABC, and NBC says hello to THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
