FOX:  Game 7 of the WORLD SERIES had a titanic 12.1 rating in preliminary numbers.  Incredibly, that more than doubled the last Game 7 just 2 years ago, which tallied a 5.6.

ABC:  The CMA AWARDS fell 0.9 from last year to 2.9, but considering the historic level of  competition the show faced, it could have been worse.

CBS:  The scheduled episode of CRIMINAL MINDS was pulled for a 0.9 rerun, which left SURVIVOR to drop 0.4 to 1.5, and CODE BLACK to drop 0.3 to 0.7, both series lows.

CW:  There isn’t much overlap between baseball fans and CW viewers, considering that ARROW slipped just 0.1 to 0.6, and FREQUENCY remained steady at 0.3.

NBC:  The network pulled its entire schedule rather than face Game 7, airing reruns topped by 0.8 for the 9PM SVU.

FOX’s PITCH will hope that after a huge week of baseball, some viewers will stick around for the scripted drama version.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
