SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4.1.2015

CBS will be glad THE DOVEKEEPERS has run out of birds.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

Demo Profile 2015 WED.1 Apr

CBS:  After SURVIVOR dropped 0.2 to 2.1, the second half of THE DOVEKEEPERS fell 0.1 from Tuesday’s terrible premiere to an even worse 0.9.

ABC:  THE MIDDLE and THE GOLDBERGS each lost 0.2 to a respective 1.7 and 1.9.  MODERN FAMILY was steady at 2.9, and BLACK-ISH jumped by 0.3 to 2.4.  NASHVILLE was down 0.1 to 1.3.

NBC:  THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA held at 1.0.  SVU gained 0.2 to 1.5, and CHICAGO PD was up 0.1 to 1.6, those two shows probably benefiting from the lack of procedurals on CBS.

FOX:  AMERICAN IDOL was steady at 1.7.

CW:  ARROW fell 0.2 to 0.8, and SUPERNATURAL slipped 0.1 to tie its series low 0.6.

All the networks are new tonight except CW, and NBC airs the finale of THE SLAP.  On cable, Sundance has the season premiere of THE RED ROAD.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
