FOX: EMPIRE halted its slide, holding last week’s 3.7. The night started with ROSEWOOD up 0.1 to 1.3.
CBS: SURVIVOR rose 0.1 to 2.1. With a 1.0 CRIMINAL MINDS rerun as lead-in, CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS was down 0.1 to 1.2.
ABC: THE MIDDLE and THE GOLDBERGS returned after a rerun week (GOLDBERGS, though, was a clip show), with MIDDLE down 0.1 to 1.6 and GOLDBERGS down 0.3 to 1.6. After a 1.3 MODERN FAMILY rerun, BLACK-ISH was steady with last week’s 1.5 (which also followed a rerun). NASHVILLE gained 0.1 to 0.9.
NBC: The only new show was HEARTBEAT, up 0.1 to 0.8. It was followed by SVU and CHICAGO PD reruns at 0.8/0.7.
CW: After 2 weeks of reruns, ARROW is currently up 0.1 to 0.9 and SUPERNATURAL is steady at 0.7, although a Chicago baseball preemption may shift these numbers this afternoon.
The 2015-16 broadcast network season officially hits the homestretch tonight with the start of May sweeps, so there are no reruns to be found The night’s wild card is the start of the NFL DRAFT on ESPN.
