MODERN FAMILY continues to slip.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: THE MIDDLE, THE GOLDBERGS and MODERN FAMILY were all down 0.1 from last week, respectively to 1.6/1.8/2.1. For MODERN FAMILY, it marks another step toward being a standard-level network hit rather than a standout. BLACK-ISH held last week’s 1.6, and NASHVILLE climbed 0.1 to 0.9.
CBS: SURVIVOR remained at last week’s 2.1, but without a mothership lead-in, both hours of CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS were at 1.1, down 0.1 from last week.
NBC: Although HEARTBEAT lost 0.1 to 0.7, both SVU and CHICAGO PD rose from last week’s lows, SVU up 0.3 to 1.4 and PD up 0.1 to 1.4.
FOX: After ROSEWOOD fell 0.1 to 1.1, EMPIRE was steady at 3.6.
CW: Both ARROW and SUPERNATURAL rose 0.1 from last week, respectively to 0.8/0.7.
Tonight’s marquee season finales are THE BIG BANG THEORY and SCANDAL, and 2 BROKE GIRLS also winds up its season.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
