SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORCARD – 6.15.2016

A dull night on the networks.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

Fast Demo 2016 Jun WED.15

FOX:  On the only network to feature an all-original line-up, MASTERCHEF and WAYWARD PINES were both steady at 1.2 and 0.7.

NBC:  After a 1.3 AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR rerun (down just 0.3 from last week’s original episode), THE NIGHT SHIFT rose 0.1 to 1.0.

ABC:  Reruns, led by MODERN FAMILY at 1.1.

CBS:  Reruns, all at 0.7.

CW:  Reruns at 0.3/0.2.

Tonight belongs to Game 6 of the NBA FINALS on ABC.  That won’t help the return of AQUARIUS on NBC (which will air for 2 solid hours without commercials)–but given last year’s ratings, it may not make much difference.  In addition, HOME FREE premieres on FOX, and ORPHAN BLACK ends what we now know is its next-to-last season.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
