CBS:  BIG BROTHER topped the night, down 0.1 from last week to 1.8.  Although AMERICAN GOTHIC’s 0.7 is nothing to crow about, it was notably steady despite a roughly 50% drop in lead-in, from last week’s BIG BROTHER premiere to 0.9 from a CRIMINAL MINDS rerun.

NBC:  Another installment of the swimming US OLYMPIC TRIALS was at 1.2, and back-to-back episodes of THE NIGHT SHIFT were down 0.1 from last week’s single episode to 0.8.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF held at 1.1, and WAYWARD PINES gained 0.1 to 0.8.

ABC:  Sitcom reruns, led by 1.1 for MODERN FAMILY.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

Music is the key tonight, as GREATEST HITS premieres on ABC, and SEX&DRUGS&ROCK&ROLL returns to FX.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
