EXTANT didn’t gain much from its timeslot move.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: The 1.5 for last night’s season premiere of LAST COMIC STANDING put it down 0.2 from the 2014 premiere. It followed a 1.2 for an AMERICA’S GOT TALENT clip show.
CBS: BIG BROTHER fell 0.2 to a 1.8 that was still enough for a clear nightly win. EXTANT, moved to 9PM for that lead-in, nosed up 0.1 to 0.7 from last week’s series low, which only tied it with the CRIMINAL MINDS rerun now airing at 10PM.
FOX: After MASTERCHEF slipped 0.1 to 1.4, HOME FREE premiered with a mediocre 0.9.
ABC: A night of sitcom reruns, all at 0.7-0.8.
CW: Reruns, both at 0.2.
FOX airs the finale of WAYWARD PINES tonight.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
