SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8.24.2016

 

The post-Olympics tide lifted most boats.

NBC:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT returned to the Wednesday line-up with a 1.4 recap hour, followed by a 2.1 episode that was 0.3 higher than the last Wednesday episode on August 3.  THE NIGHT SHIFT was steady at 1.1.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER rose 0.2 to 2.0, and then after a 0.7 CRIMINAL MINDS rerun, AMERICAN GOTHIC added 0.1 to 0.5.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF returned from 2 weeks of reruns at 1.2/1.4, better than the last 1.1/1.2 originals.

CW:  PENN & TELLER: FOOL US was up 0.1 to 0.4, and WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY was steady after a week off at 0.4 in both its original and rerun forms.

ABC:  Sitcom reruns at 0.7-0.9.

The national NFL THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game returns tonight, at least in preseason form, with NBC having the honors.

 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
